At Domin we have developed ground-breaking technology that will disrupt the hydraulics, automotive, industrial, and aerospace industries for the better. We’re looking for an experienced assembly operator to join our rapidly expanding manufacturing team as we continue to scale our output. This role will be within the assembly team, where the successful candidate will carry out assembly of our hydraulic valve components to be delivered globally to customers to use in a whole host of exciting applications.
The role will be at our Domin Technology Centre, a state of the art facility housing a expansive range of technological capability. Our manufacturing processes are constantly evolving and this is role offers an opportunity to join a company at the cutting edge of technology. The assembly processes include matching bearings, gluing magnets and completing valve assemblies.
This role will be during the day shift which runs Mon-Thu 07:30-16:00 and Fri 07:30-13:30. There may also be opportunities for overtime and weekend work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assembly of a range of hydraulic servo valves
- Carrying out matched set assembly, including bearing matching and magnet gluing
- Disassembly of components for investigations and completion of offline rework
- Upkeep of 5S standards
- Improving processes to increase efficiencies in production
- Interacting with MRP system and capturing data to pass on to subsequent operations
Essential Requirements:
- 2 or more years of experience operating carrying out assembly of mechanical products
- Measuring and recording quality control features
- Adhering to Health and Safety Policies
- Great computer literacy
Beneficial Requirements:
- Experience assembling valves or operating hydraulic test equipment
- Has 5S and lean six sigma understanding
- Experience using MRP or ERP
