Control at Scale: The S12 Pro and P12 Pro for NG16 Applications

We have launched two new valves for NG16 (CETOP 7) applications, the S12 Pro and P12 Pro, extending our technology into higher flow applications up to 580 l/min (153 gpm).

The launch is a milestone for the company. For the first time, we are moving into two-stage valve architecture all built on our proven valve technology as a pilot stage. This brings stable, high-performance control to the scale demanded by test systems, turbines, large presses, and beyond. It’s a meaningful step. High-power hydraulic systems sit at the heart of industrial processing, energy, and test environments, where downtime and supply delays don’t just slow things down – they carry a direct operational and financial cost. The S12 Pro and P12 Pro are designed to address that challenge head-on.

S12 Pro

The S12 Pro is built for applications where precision is non-negotiable. Fast response, stable control under heavy load, consistent behaviour at high flow and pressure – it’s aimed squarely at demanding use cases like test rigs, large presses, turbines, and motion platforms, where control quality and speed are essential to system performance.

P12 Pro

The P12 Pro takes a different focus: reliability and ease of integration in industrial production environments. It combines predictable servo proportional behaviour with strong dynamic response, making it well-suited to processing lines and large-scale automation where stable, consistent control under high duty conditions is the priority.

Different applications, shared philosophy. Both valves are engineered to maintain control quality over time – reducing performance degradation, extending service intervals, cutting maintenance burden, and improving overall system productivity. In environments where control quality and availability directly shape operating costs, that consistency matters.

Jerome Carson, Valve Product Owner at Domin, said:
“High power hydraulic systems are often defined by trade-offs between performance, reliability, and costs. Improving one area typically comes at the expense of another.

“The S12 Pro and P12 Pro are designed to remove that compromise, enabling our customers to achieve higher productivity and reliability with less downtime, less maintenance, lower cost of ownership, while also enabling reduced energy consumption across hydraulic systems.

“This reflects Domin’s core mission of transforming motion control, creating systems that last longer, achieve more and use less, for people everywhere.”

Expanding our Offering

The launch enables Domin to support a wider range of hydraulic systems with a consistent approach to performance, availability, and cost. By introducing both valves simultaneously, the company strengthens its position in high power applications and expands its offering across the NG16 segment.
